November 2008 - WOULD YOU LIKE TO FACILITATE A ONE-OFF DEVISED SHOW?

BigVillage are looking for an enthusiastic person to facilitate a one-off devised show to be performed at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar in the evening of Saturday 1st November.

The idea is to use a series of workshops to generate all aspects of the show. Performers will collaborate to agree a theme, and then use improvisational games and activities to generate and refine material in ways that interest them. The faciliator's role will be to lead these workshops. The overall tone - comedy, drama, etc - will be up to the performers to decide, with the facilitator having the role of providing an overview and helping the group give the piece shape.

The size of the group to be led will be determined by the level of interest shown, but might be capped at around 16. The facilitator would be required to lead at least one evening's workshop per week at a location in central Edinburgh from early September through to the date of the show.

It should prove to be a great experience for all involved!

5th December - Fringe 2007.  We have just received the good news from the Fringe office that we have received the coveted 'Sell out 2006' logo. It will look great next to our 'sell out 2005' logo!
